there, but we will see hit and miss areas of showers and storms all the way from many of the big cities in the east. right now we're not really seeing too many problems on the storm tracker radar. yesterday we didn't see all that many nasty storms. what's going to happen is the weather pattern is going to change. we have a big area of low pressure that's going to be moving down from the north and swing a cold front through the northern plains. today will be in the 80s. enjoy today. temperatures will take a big dip. it will track across the border of the u.s. and canada. behind it the coolest air of the season. ma areas if you haven't had a frost or freeze yet, you will, including colorado. there's a potential that some areas could see snow in the northern rockies, maybe some spots of colorado as we go throughout friday into saturday. today you're in the 80s in areas of montana. tomorrow will be the 40s. enjoy it in minneapolis. the warmest day you'll have. middle of the country looks gorgeous. numerous showers on the eastern seaboard. you do need the umbrella in many of the areas if you

city -- no, that's off the coast of hawaii. not even close to ocean city, but they did have some big-time surf. for these guys, what does that mean? hit the beach. that's exactly what they were doung. they're expecting more big waves tomorrow. a southwest swell coming in on the big island. by way, temperatures in hawaii. the next seven days in a row, 85 degrees. i looked at the forecast. 85 the next seven days in a row. that's why i'm your weather man. i'm not doing the weather in honolulu. the wet ir did change a little bit. up 10 degrees from where we were yesterday. we were almost 10 degrees higher at 64 degrees. a lot of you said you didn't really notice a difference because of all of the cloud cover that we saw. it was still fairly cool. out there right now, 59 degrees. a dew point of 52. a lot of moisture in the atmosphere. the clouds starting to lower. only about 3 miles an hour. but that is going to allow for some more cloud cover. and the potential is there for drizzle overnight and into your morning. right now, very cool out to the west. we're already seeing some clearing s

reported incident of this kind of assault in that city in the last month. pat collins spoke to one of the victims and explained why the attack is considered so brazen. >> reporter: four attacks in springfield in the past month. police believe it may be the work of the same man, and now it appears the number of victims may be five. police out in springfield investigating a series of fondling attacks on young women here. today a detective talking to yet another victim. we call her rosa. she said she was attacked on september 19th as she was coming home with her daughter. she spoke through an interpreter. >> translator: we were walking down the sidewalk when all of a sudden i felt somebody walking behind me. once i turned around he started touching me. touching me around my breasts. and then i started screaming and my daughter started screaming, he started running back. >> reporter: all of these attacks have happened on residential streets where you're more likely to feel safe, and let your guard down. mo monticello boulevard, 9:30 in the morning, a 26-year-old woman attacked down there. >>

york city and boston, their day off to a rocky start because of this power outage. now, it's primarily affecting amtrak service, although we are seeing an impact to mark service north of baltimore as well. as for amtrak, the 448 acela express to boston as cancelled, the 5:30 northeast regional was cancelled also the express to new york. that gate is listed as closed. we have the 6:30 regional to newark cancelled so we're seeing big delays, big cancellations and inconveniences to travelers headed on amtrak points north from union station this morning. we did speak to a commuter who had a 9:30 meeting in new york city. he looked up at the board here and saw his train was not going to be leaving and so he's scrambling to try to figure out another way to get to that meeting this morning. mark train also points north of baltimore impacted. they have crews working on the situation. we'll update you later on in the show. megan mcgrath, news 4. back to you. >>> controversial ads supporting israel now on display in some metro stations. yesterday the transit agency put up the ads which
